As the founder of Infinity, and its CEO for ten years, it’s an honour to announce that Warren Newbert has agreed to step up and take the role of Infinity CEO going forward.
I have long been a firm believer in identifying when others are ready to take the helm at companies I have founded. In 2008 I handed the reins over to Rob Pierre when the time was right at Jellyfish, and it has gone from strength to strength ever since. Today is that day for Infinity.
Over the last year, we have bolstered our leadership team immensely with the hires of Maria Psaltaki as CPO, Stuart Dawson as Chairman, and Jo-Anne Illman as HR Director. Today’s move marks the next step in our long term plan to give Infinity the best possible platform for developing our product, serving our clients, and growing our business.
Warren joined me at Infinity about four years ago, has worked closely with every department, and has occupied the COO role for the last year. As a proven industry leader in this space, a respected figure within the company, and someone who has successfully scaled up businesses in the past, he was an easy choice for my successor.
“I’m proud to take this role without a moment’s hesitation. The people and the product are in prime position to drive Infinity forward to new heights, and I can't wait to continue playing my part in helping us get there.”
Warren Newbert | CEO, Infinity
I will now be moving to a Non-executive Director role, where I am looking forward to providing ongoing support with the direction of the product and the marketplace. The long term outlook for Infinity has never looked stronger. I am excited to see what its future holds, and I wish Warren every success in his new role.
