Our developers are constantly updating and fine tuning the Infinity Portal. Some of the changes you are able to see, but most of the work is behind the scenes ensuring the portal is running as quickly and efficiently as possible. This week, we have released two new features that should help you further with our system.
Invoices in the Portal

We have added a functionality within the Portal for invoices:
- The ability to view your monthly invoices
- The ability to download your invoices within the Portal at any time
- All invoices are raised on the 1st working day of the month, so you will be able to view the invoice for the previous period after that time
To access your Invoices through the Portal:
- Navigate to Admin
- Billing
- Invoices
Who can access this feature?
At Infinity we implement user roles within the Portal, this feature is visible by Admininstrator users or a user with the role of Billing Manager.
If you would like to update a change of role this would have to be authorised by the installation Administrator at your company, who is typically the person who signed the contract with us. If you are in any doubt, please contact the Support Team and they will assist you.
There is further information in our Knowledge Base: Invoices.
Channel Edit Screen

Within Infinity, Channels are rule-based groupings of your traffic sources. The different tabs in the Infinity Portal and Reports allow you to see your data organized by Channel, which makes it easy for you to analyse the performance of each of your traffic channels and the campaigns that sit within these channel groupings. Infinity has always allowed the creation of custom marketing channels, but the release of the Channel edit screen hands you the power.
You are now able to create and update your own channels, rather than having to speak to our Support Team to implement this. You now also have the ability to change the order in which you would like your custom channels to be detected, giving you even further flexibility of your configuration. Built in channels will always be looked for first, this is not changeable.
You can find this in the Portal here:
- Navigate to Admin
- Tracking Settings
- Channels
Who can access this feature?
In principle, every Portal user can add new channels. However, at Infinity we implement user roles within the Portal to minimise risk of error, so you would need to have the correct user role allocated to allow you to use this feature. Only Administrator and Tracking Manager roles include this feature.
Any role changes would also have to be authorised by the installation Administrator at your company, who is typically the person who signed the contract with us. If you are in any doubt, please contact the Support Team.
What should I know before adding a channel?
If you are planning to update your channels, please read through the Knowledge Base article first so you have all of the information you need: Knowledge Base: Create new channels
We have also added a video that takes you through the process.
