Acquisio Integration

This article introduces Infinity's integration with Partnerize and how to configure it.

What is Acquisio?

Acquisio is one of the world's leading bid management platforms. It lets clients launch, manage, optimise & report on paid search, social & display campaigns.

Infinity’s integration with Acquisio enables clients to link phone calls back to the Acquisio campaigns that drove the call, giving them a more complete view of the impact of their marketing efforts.

How does the Acquisio integration work?

When an end user who has clicked on a Acquisio activity visits that site and then makes a subsequent phone call, we will record that call as an offline event and pass it into Acquisio, so clients are able to link phone calls back to the Acquisio activity that helped drive the call and see the full impact of their Acquisio activity.

Configuring your Acquisio integration

To configure the Acquisio integration, you just need to complete 2 simple steps:

  1. Add Infinity tagging to your paid search accounts
  2. Configure the Integration in Infinity

Step 1 - Add Infinity tagging to your paid search accounts

  • Since Acquisio is a bid management tool we need to ensure tagging is correctly applied so that Infinity have all the data needed for reporting, and to ensure that our tags don’t conflict with the Acquisio tags.

  • The simplest way to achieve that is using an account level template, which will get applied automatically to each activity without having to re-run Infinity's tagging check.

For Google Ads: trkid=V3ADW[ACQ_ACCOUNT_ID]_{adgroupId}_{targetId}_{placement}_{creative}_{network}_{device}_{adType}_{target}

For Bing Ads: trkid=V3ADC[ACQ_ACCOUNT_ID]_{AdGroupId}_{OrderItemID}_{AdID}_{Device}

Important Notes

  • Please ensure that the tags are entered into the account level Final URL Suffix field, so as not to trip up Infinity's PPC tagging checks.
  • Please note that the [ACQ_ACCOUNT_ID] is a placeholder for your Acquisio Account ID, and needs to be substituted with your actual Account ID when you add the tagging. Please exclude the square brackets too.
  • There's no auto replacement for {trkid}, it has to be done manually.

Step 2 - Configure the Integration in Infinity

  • Log in to the Infinity Portal, navigate to the Admin section, and select Integrations.
  • At the top of the list of your integrations, select Add Integration, and choose Acquisio from the drop down. Please note that this is a chargeable integration, additional charges may apply, check with the Infinity support team if you are in any doubt.
  • First you need to give your integration a name. It is called Acquisio by default but you can edit it. Choose something that you'll easily be able to identify later.
  • Enter your Acquisio Account Name. This will link the call events to your Acquisio account when they are sent by Infinity.
  • Then enter the FTP details provided to your by Acquisio. These will comprise the FTP Host, Username and Password.

  • We will pass all calls into Acquisio by default.
  • The call events will be uploaded daily to Acquisio's FTP and then imported side, so you will be able to view data for the previous day and prior in their platform.
